Short-Term Prenatal Couples Therapy

Preparing for a baby brings a mix of excitement, feelings of great change, and often, many vulnerable emotions for couples. Short-term prenatal therapy is a productive and enlivening space to get clear on your communication needs, align one another's expectations, and lean on your bond as a couple before baby arrives.

Sessions are personalized, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. All couples are welcome, with every family constellation.

Participating in this program now is a wonderful act of care for yourselves individually, your relationship, and your growing family. Let's get you started!

$1650 for 7 sessions

What We'll Focus on:

  • Attachment histories and how they may show up in parenthood

  • Identifying your communication cycles; Practicing new tools for future conflict repair 

  • Addressing any fears, anxieties, or traumas related to birth and parenting

  • Birth planning and/or postpartum support planning

  • Understanding your evolving intimacy, trust, and shared values as you transition to parenthood together

  • Tools for nervous system soothing, helpful to you and your child

  • What it means for you both to be a united front in this next chapter

What's Included:

  • Initial Consultation - (60 minutes): A chance to get to know both of your goals, concerns, and visions for your journey ahead

  • A fixed structure - (7 sessions total, 60 minutes each): Weekly or bi-weekly, tailored to your evolving needs

  • Short-term and long-term support available as needed

  • Perinatal expertise included with sensitivity to hormonal, emotional, and body-based changes 

  • A curated collection of tangible resources 

Ideal for:

  • First-time parents or growing families

  • Couples with one or both partners experiencing any level of anxiety, distress, or overwhelm during pregnancy

  • Partners wanting to proactively strengthen their relationship before baby arrives
